Our mission is to deliver reliable, economical and environmentally-friendly gas to our pipeline customers along the 1380km length of the Goldfields Gas Pipeline.
Our customers are located in some of the toughest and most unforgiving regions of the world. Efficient mineral extraction in the vast and rugged Goldfields and Murchison regions demands unique solutions in a difficult environment.
GGT recognises these challenges and develops individual solutions to meet our customers' needs and rigorous expectations. Examples include Rio Tinto's expanding Pilbara iron ore facility at Paraburdoo, Barrick’s Plutonic Gold Mine in the north-east Goldfields and Minara Resources' world scale nickel-cobalt project at Murrin Murrin in the eastern Goldfields.
Sourced and delivered direct from gas producers in the North West of Western Australia, clean and efficient natural gas provides both a flexible and highly competitive energy source and process feedstock for miners.
GGT's services are provided on an open access and non-discriminatory basis, with the individual needs of each customer in mind. Services include:
- Delivery of gas to a customer-nominated point on our pipeline;
- Gas balancing management services; and
- Construction, funding and operation of lateral or spur lines, metering facilities and associated infrastructure.
